Introduction

This documentation serves as a pratical introduction to the topic of prayer times calculation in Germany and Europe. The goal of this project is to provide a foundational understanding and common terminology regarding the methods employed for prayer times calculation.

We hope that this project will facilitate the discussion and collaboration between scholars, astronomers, and programmers.

However, more than everything, we hope that this documentation will contribute to a better understanding between the muslim congregations and communities on one side and the the expert groups in the prayer times issuing organizations on the other side.
